On May 21st, the board met and discussed medical findings and official COVID-19 statistics for Tulsa County and the state of Oklahoma. After careful thought and consideration, the board decided that we will be gathering together for in-person services starting May 31, 2020 at 10:30 am.
We know that not everyone will feel comfortable attending in-person worship gatherings at this time, and that is totally understandable. We will continue to stream our services online and look for ways to keep everyone as connected as possible, even if you are not comfortable in returning yet.
It is important to note that beginning May 31st, we will be operating differently, and the set-up of the sanctuary will be different as well. Enclosed are the guidelines that were adopted by the board for our first phase of regathering. These guidelines were created as a team and with the input from those in the medical professionals and recommended guidelines from our Federal, State, and Local health agencies. We will also post informational videos that will describe what our reopening will look like.
We will continue to monitor the State of Oklahoma and the Tulsa County COVID-19 dashboards and will make decisions on changing guidelines as the situation warrants. As always, if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the church by phone or email.
